'Recovering from an illness, undergoing treatment, post-surgical, an injury, education and training of a newly, diagnosed disease or medication are the most common home healthcare services. Tina Jacomino, MSN, RN, Director of Home Care with Baptist Health South Florida, says in cases of knee or hip replacements, home healthcare is very common, because those patients need rest and heal properly. In those cases, physical therapists come out to the patients\' home and provide them that physical therapy they need. Orthopedic surgery is a collaboration team: physician, physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurses, she explains.'
