'Photos and details: https://jakewildwood.blogspot.com/2022/07/1920s-slingerland-style-7-head-banjo.html This uke is the standard 1920s “Slingerland-type” soprano banjo ukulele. I think these were made by Regal for the firm but I’m not 100% sure. It’s got a maple neck, ply-maple rim, simple hoop tonering, a ~7” head, and a great, decently-loud, poppy sort-of sound. This one’s the rarer format with a 14” rather than 13” scale and a bridge positioned closer to the edge of the rim. I gave it a fret level/dress, fit a new skin head and new bridge, cleaned it all up, and set it up on the dot.'
