'ABOUT JAREK  Jarek DUK is a fashion and advertising photographer based in London. He is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, maintaining positive attitude, and of course, striving in his photography and fashion craft.   Jarek is a strong believer that personality and attitude is just as important as talent and skills. Good relations with clients and other professionals involved in a project have always been his highest priority. His friendly yet professional approach and at times necessary dose of humour has opened many doors and led him down exciting paths and avenues. See, most photographers / videographers I know are so consumed by working BEHIND the lense and computer, that they lack the ability to really be present with people.  During the shoot I noticed how he engaged with the model and peeled back the layers of self-consciousness the model had. After about twenty-minutes, the model was loose and the shots became increasingly more natural looking.  I asked him to do an interview, and he was kind enough to take out the time to speak with me. As a creative myself, I was very excited to learn more about Jarek as well as take notes on how to improve my photography skills.   But little did I know, our conversation would impact the way I viewed diversity...  Burn the Boats  Jarek’s journey was anything but easy. He risked it ALL to pursue his journey as a professional photographer. What others will see as ‘Easy’ or Fairytail’, in reality, there is an immersive amount of RISK and sacrifice what went into Jarek’s journey.  ---   London 100 is a community of Business-owners and Entrepreneurs.
