If you are trying to open your Adobe Illustrator and the Illustrator keeps locking up, you are landing in the right place. It is a very simple solution to fix. I’m going to provide the simple steps on how to fix it. See the video link for more step by step on how to fix this problem. How to Fix Adobe Illustrator CC Crashing Step 1 to Step 5 Go to Edit Go to Preferences Go to General Go to Performance and Uncheck the GPU Performance box. Go to File Handling & Clipboard then below the (Data Recovery) by default it set to save every 2 minutes. I recommend changing it to save every 10 minutes or you can Uncheck the (Automatically Save Recovery Data Every:) box if you would like. Note: if you uncheck the (Automatically Save Recovery Data Every:) box, you just need to save your work very often while you are working on your project.
