Not as splashy as Lady Gaga now , they where supermodels of the catwalk in their day.  Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss - the two top  british models of their era ruled the designer couture fashion world. They knew what to wear and how to wear it including all the right accessories. Their fashion shows where an actual event.  With their featured covers in British Vogue they where the top models in the fashion modeling business and defined the word supermodel. Always in the news, these models with their cover on people magazine for their style, were the forerunners of todays top models like Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington. Naomi Campbell  was a trailblazer being the first black model of her stature. She was a rival of Tyra Banks ,very controversial with the type of boyfriend she hung-out with and made the news for her anger management issues.
