'Hello, my name is Angeline Nambi from Nairobi, Kenya. I love the message that fashion hero conveys in terms of appreciating oneself for who they are. I am an event planner. I have always dreamt of being a brand ambassador for something someday, but most importantly represent my brothers and sisters from the orphanage I grew up in. So that I can get to show them that they can be anything they want to be in life. it does not matter how our life started but what matters is how we live it. Me wanting to join fashion hero apart from me being ambitious, having dreams and wanting to achieve those dreams. Its basically also mostly for them. They have always looked up to me and admired my confidence to challenge life and everything it throws at me. Some of them are struggling to accept themselves in terms of their appearances and personality. All I want to do is encourage them that they are unique in their own way and they should never compare themselves with anyone. I believe me joining this programme, it will be a platform to show them that they are beautiful, unique and they too can make it in life if they only believe in themselves and work on their dreams.'
