'With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in full swing, there were always going to be a few trends thrown up that were as impractical as they are baffling.Enter the oversized trend - spotted on runways including Camilla and Marc and We Are Kindred - which is a new look that\'s already got people talking. On Sunday, models paraded the catwalk at Camilla and Marc wearing an assortment of beautiful printed pieces and chic separates. However, it was what was on their arms or tucked at their waist that was the real attention grabber at the show - giant handbags more than half the size of the models\' bodies.    \'Now I can finally pack my life into my daily bag,\' one pithy commenter posted of the tan, pink, blue and black bags on Facebook.\'I think I\'m gonna need a bigger SUV for this bag,\' another added. Others highlighted the potential use of the bag for mothers with young babies, carting around endless possessions.Perhaps the look is not as impractical after all. It wasn\'t just handbags going supersize on the runways, either. At the highly-anticipated We Are Kindred show on Tuesday morning, models sported giant hats made of raffia in various colours. The result was a Little House on the Prairie vibe, which continued throughout the rest of the show\'s looks. Floral dresses were showcased, alongside patterned blouses, sheer skirts and swimwear. One hat was so large that it was impossible to see even the model\'s face - just a swathe of pink material that reached down towards her neck. The We Are Kindred resort collection was titled Noveau Fleur by the designer sisters, Lizzie and Georgie Renkert.Speaking to In Style about the collection, they explained: \'For Noveau Fleur, we were really drawn to the Art Nouveau period, which was inspired by nature and florals. The idea of symmetry in prints also really appealed to us\'. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia runs until Friday.'
