'An Exhibition “INDIAN SARI: A Timeless Elegance” was inaugurated at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 03.03.2020. The exhibition is organised by Embassy of India, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in collaboration with National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan and supported by Indian Association of Astana. H.E. Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, Director of the National was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Ambassador Prabhat Kumar in his speech thanked the Director and other sponsors. While he informed about the Sari Exhibition, he also mentioned about participation of “The Golden Man” from Kazakhstan to the Exhibition of Museums in Delhi from 18.03.2020. H.E. Arystanbek Mukhamediuly also addressed the gathering. The highlight of the inauguration ceremony was a Fashion Show by the Indian and Kazakh ladies dressed in saris. Senior students of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre presented a dance performance. More than 150 guests including local dignitaries, members of diplomatic corps and journalists attended the event. The Exhibition will remain open for the public till 15.03.2020 (Except Mondays) from 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs. ENTRY IS FREE.'
