'September 1969.   Footage of a fashion show at a Nairobi Hotel in which almost 50 models displayed a collecting of clothes by the designer Sulti Karim.   The collection was themed as \"Idees Afriques\". The sytles were promoted as \"what looks good in Africa today\". Most of the designs were in Kitenge and the models included Miss Kenya, Joshephine MOIKOBU, and Miss Uganda, Joy LEHAI.  Kenyan First Lady Ngina Kenyatta was the guest of honour.
