'Trends play a very, very small role in my personal style vocabulary. However, every so often I see a handful that speak to me and that I feel comfortable pulling off. In this video, I\'m sharing five of my favorite trends to wear this winter. Winter trends, in brief: 1. White pants 2. Tonal dressing 3. Statement coat 4. Turtleneck under shirt 5. Shirt under turtleneck Want to make a small distinction between what I\'d call a fashion trend vs. a menswear (or tailored clothing) trend. Fashion trends tend to have a high-dollar buy-in, fade like flash paper, and have the uncanny ability to make you cringe when you see old photos of yourself. With a trend within the tailored clothing world of menswear, you can usually try it out with things you\'ve already got in your closet.
