'Natural Sound A Taiwanese department store has held a contest of Christmas fashion designs - for dogs. APTN went to see what our four-legged friends should be wearing this festive season. Not quite in the same league as Kate Moss, but nevertheless, a definite crowd pleaser. The dog fashion show in Taipei drew in many parents and their eager children. The hounds of haute couture were led in sporting the very latest in festive frocks. A favourite was the reindeer design, with the vital horns accessory completing the look. This creation certainly seemed to keep the young audience enthralled. In keeping with the festive theme, the dogs\' owners were also kitted out in similar ensembles. And it wouldn\'t be the same without the Santa Claus outfit - a popular classic. A great deal of effort was put into the models\' designs - after all, there was a cash prize at stake. But it wasn\'t just the canines who were afforded all the attention. Applause was also given to children who were judged to look as cute as their dogs. Finally the winner was announced. A firm favourite with the children, the reindeer look was awarded first prize of 200 U-S dollars. And who knows, it could catch on, and maybe this festive fashion guru will be pulling Santa\'s sleigh in the future.
