'Factory workers making utility clothes in 1940s. Long line of women at sewing machines. Dress is fitted on a mannequin. Cutting patterns out. Women union members meet over a cup of tea and present the idea of a fashion parade to the factory management. Models wear the clothes that the factory makes and show the workers the finished article. Models change clothes in a dressing room. All the outfits are dresses. The workers go back to their sewing machines.'
