Cutaway designer STORYLINE VALENTINO LOOKS TO NEXT YEAR\'S SPRING AND SUMMER IN MENSWEAR The house of Valentino explored the rigor of the uniform in its Spring Summer 2014 menswear show Wednesday (26 JUNE 2013) afternoon, at the Salomon de Rothschild mansion in Paris. Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli reinvent the contemporary man - a man with background in sartorial culture - using patchwork and military workwear with statement pockets and leather details. The line gives a new edge to chinos, using both floral chin desings and toile de jouy motifs. Shirt-jackets, pea coats, and parkas are made of a combination of different materials such as dry wool, bonded cotton or barathea. It also provided a twist to aviator-style khaki or beige jackets by adding blanket stripes and a single black leather breast pocket. In collaboration with Brazilian firm Havaianas, Valentino\'s designers combined some suits with crocodile and rubber thongs. Sitting in the front row was Cannes sensation, French actress Adele Exarchopoulos, star of the movie \"Blue Is the Warmest Colour.\" You can license this story through AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/metadata/youtube/915a9c11f1e9e7ed1611c39eb9c86e3c Find out more about AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/HowWeWork'
