'You\'ve got the ring, now all you need is the engagement dress ! Like Carol, you too can look so desirable in a 1940\'s evening dress. Her skirt is made from layers of pink and grey net. The waistline is longer for evening too. All very pretty and gay. Hold it out for us Jane. No skipping on fabrics this season! Next comes Gloria. She\'s wearing a vivacious Carmen Miranda costume. The dress is lovely with it\'s hand painted prints, bare midriffs and bright sashes. Alice and Patsy are wearing two lovely 1940\'s evening dresses. Martha saunters in wearing a gaudy print dress topped by a yellow jacket. Doesn\'t it fit like a dream? Look at that pretty hood! She\'s all prepared for a romantic stroll along the beach. Finally comes Helen. Women flock to an engagement ring like bees to honeysuckle. This is certainly a gala evening. And Helen has a new dress too. Pink and blue net. Very feminine.
