That’s what trend forecasters like Michael Fisher of the agency Fashion Snoops and Jaana Jatyri of Trendstop are trying to predict.  Trend forecasters analyze patterns from current events and historical data to help companies plan for what consumers will want months and years down the road. And while there is no upside to a global pandemic, trend forecasters see one silver lining, which is that innovation is often born out of hard times.  “This is the forced reset that many industries have actually been wanting for a really hard time,” Fisher said.
