'Fermented pickles seem like magic to me, but ideally I would like to be able to preserve pickles over the winter in my cold storage, and I\'m not quite there yet. Serina shares how her summer pickles are doing for fermentation Friday. Some have gone moldy, but the sauerkraut is still going strong. With improved skill and sanitation on future pickles, I believe I will be able to get my pickles shelf stable for the winter, and I am happy with the skills that I have learned so far over the summer. Let me know what you would be interested in learning more about! I am looking for some new ferments to keep me busy over the winter.'
